Purchase Process

Purchasing a Property

The Erie Land Bank regularly has three types of properties for sale:

  1. Vacant Lots
  2. Distressed Properties (i.e. structures requiring substantial rehabilitation)
  3. Move-in ready homes for owner-occupants

The process and requirements for the sale of properties owned by the Erie Land Bank is defined within Sections 4 & 6 of the Land Bank’s Administrative Policies & Procedures.

The Property Inventory page contains links to appropriate forms which can be used to submit an offer/proposal on vacant lots and distressed properties.

Persons or companies interested in acquiring and rehabilitating Distressed Properties are encouraged to review the Land Banks’s “Disposition Guidelines & Qualifications for Distressed Residential Properties”.
