About the Erie Land Bank

We are an independent agency formed by Erie City Council in 2016 under authorization of the PA legislature.

Its goal is to facilitate the return of vacant, blighted, abandoned, and tax-delinquent properties to productive use. The Erie Land Bank works with a variety of partners to mitigate instances of blight and tax delinquency in order to stabilize and improve property values within the City of Erie’s residential neighborhoods.

Our Property Inventory includes listings of all properties currently owned by the Erie Land Bank, as well as the status of each one. You can also view details of properties that have been previously sold by the Land Bank.

Thank you so much for pushing up the demo of 622 E 23rd and getting it done before Zabawa. It is a great improvement to the neighborhood. Much appreciated.

I had a very positive experience working with Erie Land Bank to acquire and demolish the vacant home next to my property. The process was easy, and gave me the opportunity to expand my lot, which will improve the use and value of my property. I really appreciate their help and support.
